Bought a Delta radial arm drill and it has a MT3 chuck. I've used the search on the forum, but can't find any info on an adapter to a keyless chuck. I want a good quality, any recommendations appreciated.....

wouldn't you just go and search for any "MT3 Keyless Chuck" and plenty would showed up...

I know my Jet drill press is JT3 and it was missing (free dp), I just go ebay and buy a JT3 or was it JT33 Chuck , it fit right in.

You sure it's not a JT instead of MT ? I would call Delta and find out....

Find a chuck you like with a JT taper socket mount then buy a JTxx to MT3 drill chuck arbor for it. ** being the JT size.

Rockwell Delta 15-120 model. Not 100% sure it’s MT3, how do I determine with certainty?

Not likely it is MT3. First off, does it have a tapered female hole a couple inches deep in the spindle? or does it have a tapered male "spud" about an inch long sticking out of the spindle? Should post a pic.

What about Llambrich? JK-16 MT3

I have a MT2 and it's great. Pricier than no-name imports, less expensive than Albrecht.

You can remove it and measure the taper

This is the bit that was in the press when I bought it. Thanks for posting this chart, if my measuring is accurate, I do indeed have a MT2 and not a MT3.eb1c7c82343f1e51f425b08831f2ece9.jpgd9cb07520d708efb73332671b963b7f7.jpg
A couple of pictures, the spindle and raise/lower was frozen when I bought it, but after some PB and a few love taps, it works fine. I’m pretty tickled for less than $200

I ordered the Llambrich (hope I spelled it right) from Zoro, it was in line with what I wanted to spend and from reading online, it gets solid reviews.
