Looking to add a press set to my stash - weekend warrior german stable.

I'm looking at the Mueller Press and Pull set -
609400-460

Anyone have this.
Looks like some of the cups have the built in notches to work on where there is a bolster on them.

I purchased the above via EBAY, the generic red box kit is sold by many. It's pulled plenty of crusty bushings for me. While the tool may look tempting, the cups are actually best used on the shop press, much faster than ratcheting them in and out.

Not sure if they Mueller Kueps is impact rated, I know I'm not too keen on impacting on mine due to the bearing design, but I probably will someday. The shafts are just all-thread, so one could make replacements or additional sizes if needed.

China I'm pretty sure. They're heavy duty though, I've maxed them in the shop press more than a few time. Maybe 1/4 inch thick steel?

I figured worst case I would buy new thrust bearing and rods if I had to. More often than not it's faster to pull the arm and just dump it in the press. I'm very happy with my purchase. Maybe buy the kit I listed, and use it for the cups?

I just bought the Schley 11100 bushing kit and it's Taiwan as well. I'm going to try it on the LCAs of an e39 BMW. It should work as that's the car they show in their promotional video.

BTW - What's the deal with the smell of tools from Taiwan? This kit smells exactly like a kit of impact bits I recently got from VIM. Best described as not full on Harbor Freight smell, but close.
