Mueller Kueps quick lock razor scraper

Does anyone have any experience/opinions? I’m looking for a sturdy single edge razor blade holder because I’m sick of the cheap ones like grandpa used to keep in his tool box.

It’s ridiculously priced for a scraper but I want something substantial and solid without the length of the Lisle.

I wish Wiha made a scraper with their screwdriver handle that held a single edge razor blade. I’d buy that in a minute!!

X2 for the Titan. It will hold cheap blades, but the Titan brand are heavier duty and sharper too. The long handle is very ergonomic compared with the flat retractable cheapies everyone uses.

The subject one does have the quick lock feature which the above alternatives do not.

Seems fairly useful, to protect the blade and protect other things/you from the blade. No cap to lose.

I made my own using an Ez-Red scraper.
The steel shaft ones are good for heavy duty use but can also damage delicate surfaces and scratch glass.
I like this one because the shaft is aluminum, the clamp is plastic with a steel screw, and its lightweight.

Originally I bought the titan scraper for the plastic blades they make. They are incredibly durable and work on painted surfaces without gouging the paint.

This is just another idea to add to the thread more than a suggestion to the OP...
But I use the Purdy folding painters tool at work when I need something portable and somewhat rugged duty. I sharpened the scraper end chisel sharp and can dress it as it dulls. Its also stainless steel so no problem with it getting wet. The hammer cap is substantial and can be used with it folded closed to persuade stuff. The opposite rounded end can be used as somewhat of a snoopy tool.

Scrapers are one of those tools you can never have too many of and in various forms.

Also, I even bought the Walmart gasket scraper and I am very happy with it, also. U.S. made, too.

I have the Wiha, Titan, and a Lisle. Use the Lisle the least.

The Wiha remains my favorite to this day after many years. Astro has a similar scraper but, its handle is way too small for me. The Lisle is the classic windshield sticker remover, and it excels for that task. I find a little on the long side for engine scraping tasks but, that's just me.
