Quick update for everyone, I ordered 12 yards of playground mulch from a local vendor. It was a craps shoot as you "hope" that it's what they say it is. I had it dumped on the driveway yesterday and sure enough it's clean, so we're pretty happy about that. Spent about $600 total after tax and delivery. Moved half of it by wheelbarrow last night and finished the rest tonight. Overall we're pretty happy so far, it definitely has a nice spongy feeling to it when stepping on it.
But I sure am tired moving that 12 yards by wheelbarrow after long days at work.
