I just came across these at Menards. I want to do some wainscoting in my shop and while looking I found these. I think they are pretty cool looking.

Its hard to get a good feel for what they actually look like from the photos on their site, so I was wondering if anyone has used them and can post a few photos. Also would like to know how durable the color is. As wainscoting I imagine stuff is going to bump into them on occasion.

Seems way too dark to be used inside to me.

Thought maybe this was about the dark/grainy panels they have for using on the roof.

The Menards I used to frequent had display panels of pretty much everything if you want to look at it in person.

I can't say as I have ever seen someone actually install it. It is steel roofing so I would bet it holds up like any other color. If it is going in your shop then you will probably have the same issues any other steel sheeting will have (scratches, punctures) if you want to bang stuff off of it.

Is it supposed to look somewhat like a camo ? Might not be bad on a building in a wooded area during the winter so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb as some can do.

I'll have to give them a call and see if they have any on display. Menards is a drive for me.

I figured they were for exterior but thought they would look good as wainscoting and break away from the standard grey/silver color. That and I've seen guys on here buy new panels and leave them outside to rust. I thought the brown looked a lot like rust but the grey/black color I posted matches my floor.

Tell me what you guys think. Originally I was going to buy plain grey/silver and use it. But when I went to look them up I found this and it matches part of my floor.

Silver or go with this color?

These types of panels are getting more common in my area but I suspect most that I see aren't the Menards product but rather those produced by a regional steel panel supplier.

I have one for the roof of my cabin & my business partner has two different flat panels for exterior siding in spots & some interior accent areas.

I started to reply last night with a picture but I can't seem to find it. Not sure it would be much help anyways.

I really like the finish in your second picture.
