Does each indoor unit need its own remote control if I don't use the ifeel function on my Gree system?

I'm hoping I dont need 4 remotes in each location, and rather just use the one.

Seems to be working fine with the one but I'm not sure if the remote sends any info to the units that I dont see in the manuals.

My experience is: all the remotes are the same & you can use the same remote for all 4 individually... but unless they are side by side the signal will only get to the one unit you point it at.

Problem is, the remote holds the previous settings & schedules etc. so using the same remote broadcasts all data to what ever unit you point it at. As long as you only use the remote for on/off & typically leave other settings the same you can successfully use 1 remote for all 4 units.

Been having to turn off and back on some settings between units but so far so good.

Thank you!
