This is for my house; got 3 zones on a natural gas in floor heat with about 1675 sq. ft. of living space. My unit is the 80k BTU, which I believe is the M80 model. Anyhow, in the "Adjusting The Setpoint" section, my first two settings were 145 deg. and 15 ch I believe its called. I was talking with an installer recently, he told me to set it at 165 deg. for my size house but I can't remember what number he said for the "ch". Also, what is the easiest way to tell if I have the "vision system option"? I believe this lets the unit read outside temp. Any help from others reading this would be great, thanks in advance.

I'd suggest you go to Heat Transfer Products web site, get the manual and read it over. Perhaps a call to them with your serial numbers in hand would be helpful as well. Sorry but I can't help with HTP settings. With the mod on boilers out there today they can't get much more out of the heat exchanger. It is the software and setting that can make them terrific...or not. Good luck with it. Oh, I think you want to run as low a temp as you can. I wouldn't bump the temp up unless the boiler was unable to heat the space at 145.

The temperature setting on the Munchkin are properly based on the outdoor design conditions, indoor design conditions, the type of radiation, i.e. the type of radiant panel and its' specific design water temperature.

Higher temperatures may work but the system will not be optimized. The Vision requires the installation of an outdoor sensor. If it is all set up correctly, your fuel bill will go down while your comfort increases.

The installing contractor should set up the any condensing boiler including the controls before being paid.
