Hey guys,

Visiting Orlando next week and I want to make a visit to Harbour Freight. I'm from Canada and am a fan of Princess Auto (our version of HF).

Anyways, just looking for some good solid suggestions for tools from HF that most folks like. I know I'm not going to get any suggestions from the 'Snap-On folks' and that is fine. Leave the HF bashing elsewhere, I'm looking for some good/simple opinions on SMART Harbour Freight shopping.

Upcoming deals/flyers would be great as well, I normally NEVER buy anything from Princess Auto unless it is on sale (it will go on sale eventually).

Thanks, much appreciated.

Tim

I like their drill bit grab bag. And the 4.5" angle grinder just won't die.

Funny, a major attraction in America is the cheapie chinese tool store...

I love harbor freight but, honestly I would stay away from anything you're not going to be able to try out before you head home. Make sure everything is working properly before you head out of the store.

their parts washer held up well for me until I gave it away.. (moved)

Ditto, mine was great, gave it away and got a smaller one. Which had the motor fail. Bought their plastic one yesterday. Returning it today.
Only buy their big one.

Without a convenient way to warranty bad stuff I don't think there is much I would touch at HF. Also two weeks ago they had 15% and 20% coupons on top of sale prices, and now nothing much at least that interests me. All I bought the other day was a radiator hose pick.
