So what are everyone's oppinions on the must have M18 tools?
I am upgrading my power tools, I have no corded tools except an old black and decker drill and Makita 5".
I have already purchased the fuel hammer drill and 5" grinder, and a 1/4 impact, what else is reccomendend?

I'm into home/hobby type stuff with these.

I like their mini-blower and their vacuum cleaner. These rapidly burn through batteries but are very effective. Love having a powerful cordless vacuum. Great for the car.

I have a stack of them and none of the ones you listed.
Of course it depends on what you are doing but for M18 one of the most popular is the 3/8" Fuel impact The hammer drill you got is also quite popular, I opted for the non-hammer version. I guess the 1/4" you got is the hex driver? I prefer that in the M12 Fuel.

At a later date I plan to get an M12 impact and torch, but this is for now.

I'm considering a 1/2 impact, what is the better choice?

The standard torque is a lot lighter than the high torque, and enough for most things around a car.

One of each in the fuel line is a good start.

I just got the 3/8 and 1/2 impact M18's and they are fantastic - only used each a few times but very impressed.

You said good for most things around a car,
So which would you reccomend if I was going to be using it at work too, and the smallest socket I've used this week is 30mm?

Sounds like you need the high torque, 2763-** model.

I have the fuel hex m18 impact, fuel Hammer drill, m18 system Hammer drill, m18 grinder, m18 skilsaw, m18 sawzall.
All of these tools I find to be very useful. I would say that the grinder gets used the least but is awesome to have. The drill and impact driver get used the most. The rest about equally.

It just depends on what you anticipate doing with them. It is by far the b3st cordless tool system out there I'm, cost considered. And the warranty is very good compared to other brands in its class. . My. 02

I have the M18 fuel impact/drill driver combo, 2763 1/2 impact, and just bought the sawzall. Love them all. For M12 fuel 1/4 hex and 3/8 impact, hatchet, grease gun, jacket and pull over, led light, stick light and ratchet.

If I were to borrow somebody else's gold card and go buy some M18 stuff, I would get:
1/2" mid torque impact with ball detent Fuel 2655B
3/8" mid torque impact with hog ring 2654
2797-22 Fuel combo w/ hammer drill and impact driver
Fuel high torque 1/2" impact with hog ring (forgot the number)
Maybe the Fuel Sawzall
No interest in the grinder (right now, at least)
One of the Fuel circular saws, maybe both
When it comes out, the six port charger that does both M12 and M18 batteries
