Same. An ancient snappy that feels sloppy and is just worn, a probably dirty snappy that feels notchy with lots of back drag, both kobalt 1/2", all the craftsman ( dont know why i keep those). That's all I can think of ATM. In practice the differences are so marginal amongst anything decent I just can't call too many ratchets a must have.
Yeah my only snap on is absolutely butter smooth and feels nothing like anything else I have. But there's a huge gap between that and the cheap hateful junk I got in kits.

My swivel snap on is like that. I don't have other swivels to compare, no reason. May be I would lean snap on for that. With the swivel pins and that sort of intricacy....I'll stick with it.

In everyday use the Tekton flex head screw loosens up and falls out even with loctite but that does slow down the process, the end of the handle spreads open over time and I've had to rebuild the ratchet twice in 2 years.
My Snap On FLF80 is 15 years old, has been rebuilt twice by the Snap On driver and had the pin replaced once, works are smothe not clunky, Yes it costs more but it is a better tool.
My favorite locking flex head is still the Matco it the ratchet mechanism is not as robust as the FL80's but the head is thinner it does need a rebuild more often then the Snappy but so far less then the Tekton.

I will say, when I first used SnapOn wrenches, I found their beams too thin (compared to craftsman raised panels for example). I got used to them and now prefer them. Especially appreciate the long pattern, which are very long.

They're not the most ergonomic wrenches in the world, but with their thin wide beams, I find them easier to flip around in my hand.

So basically, you're trading in ergonomics for maneuverability. If people want an ergonomic wrench, get Wright.

Have you seen the latest generation Snap on locking flex heads? They seem much thinner than the older kind and I wonder how they compare to Matco?

No I have not had the FLF80b in my hand below I was referring to the new 100 tooth units.

They are, but I also hear there are some growing pains with them, the original release are being replaced from what I heard and my Snap On driver changes the subject when I bring it up...

Those are for the situation where you can't use both hands. Normally you would use one hand to hold the ratchet to the fastener and other hand to turn the ratchet. I've never been in that situation, but I imagine it can happen. I'd have to be in that situation quite frequently before I decided to invest in a locking flex head.

I have one from an early run with the freewheel problem, and the rebuild kit did not correct the problem. A friend on the West Coast has a newer one which has the freewheel problem as well. I'd love to know when the release that corrects the problem is out.

That's probably why he's not trying to sell me one...
