So what happen to the 65-66 mustang?
Oh I still have it; I just don't have many pictures of it online. Here's one with my old 2006 PP coupe (I sold the S197 in 2008) -
I know the '70 gas cap throws off people (it's part of the car's history), but it's a '66 with a 289/C4 and 8" 3.00:1 t-lok. My Dad bought it brand new in the Fall of 1966 when the 67's were coming out. I learned how to turn wrenches on that car, and drove it all through high school. Now I'm teaching our son how to work on cars -

Being in Delaware (which is the home of DuPont), the car was a test vehicle for DuPont Imron paint in the late 1970's. The paint has held up well, but there's rust slowly eating away at the car. It will be going into the body shop this Spring for a full restoration of the body. For now, the car is sleeping inside my parent's garage. Once it's out of the body shop, then the wife's vert will become a driveway car (shhhh, she doesn't know that yet!)
Sadly, the '28 Model A (the reason behind my username) in the first picture has been sold, but I plan to get another Model A again. I'm just running outa space to park the cars!
