Ok, so this isnt ALL mine. Some of its my old mans. These are all tools for turning a 1/2" nut or bolt.

Anyway, theres a 9/16 bonney wrench in thier thrown in as a representation of its 1/2 partner, which is located in my garage at the moment.

No, I dont think you know what I mean. These sockets are all 1/2... for turning a 1/2 bolt. They are 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2. All these tools are for turning a 1/2 bolt. This isnt my whole tool collection, only a fraction!

The double box ratcheting wrench and everything south of that is mine, (snap on, blackhawk, and craftsman)

As for the sockets...

Either the 3rd or 4th is mine (two of the same sockets, cant tell which), The second swivel, the 1st deep socket, the crows foot, the snap on and the SK next to the crowsfoot, the socket that is standing up infront of the impacts (i think its a KD), the first impact, (snap on) and either the second or third impact, As I bought half that set.

Well the Snap on chrome socket is part of my set, the snap on imact socket was one of my great uncles (the mechanic). My dad and I own half the SK impact socket set, The crowsfoot is craftsman, Ive got the set, I think the KD was one of the sockets I got at the E-town swap meet, as I have yet to find any good tools at a garage sale, and Its like the only KD socket I own.

Edit... And the SK Swivel I bought individually

I remember a buddy of mine had a Craftsman wrench made in Japan... a 9/16 if I remember correctly. We took one look at it and laughed our butts off. He still has it somewhere was afraid to use it.

Hey, ****.
You use a 1/2" socket on a 5/16 bolt.
And you use a 3/4" socket on a 1/2 bolt.
...none of those tools you took a picture of will turn a 1/2" bolt, or nut......

You put Jim in his place on this....but yes "****" isnt a bad name but if your using it in a derogator way its not called for here if your wanting to start trouble

Whatever....3 things come to mind:
(#1)If you are bragging about your tools, at least know what you are talking about.
(#2)If you have over 1000 posts on this site, you should at least know what you are talking about.
(#3)See #1 and #2 above.

Hey MrHappy, you don't sound too happy. Maybe, maybe, the first line of your post might hold some truth, LOL. Just kidding. But, I don't understand the last 3 lines of your post, particularly the last line. What do you mean none of those tools will turn a 1/2" bolt or nut, I thought all or most of the tools in the picture were tools for just that, to turn 1/2" nut or bolt. Maybe I'm missing something???? And if I am, please don't take any offence.

Yes.... Let me add this...

hey jackass...(aka Mr happy) When people say 1/2 inch bolt, they mean 1/2 across the flats. If they were talking about 1/2 THREADED bolts, they would include the Threads per inch... IE 1/2-13, because there are a few differen coursnesses for each size of bolt.

AS for your little "all 1/2 bolts have 3/4 heads" theory, Not always true... What about 12pt nuts and bolts? If you dont believe me, check the ARP website... Ive ordered them before.

Dont Talk **** if you cant back it up... you were wrong.

I can see why more than one person is confused. Wether it is a regional thing or not I don't know. I was not sure what exactly you meant until I reread your post. At least where I am in the midwest when we say a 1/2" bolt we mean a bolt that is 1/2" in diameter not 1/2" across the head. It could have been clarified a little better. So I can see why he was confused though he did not need to go about it like he did. Adam

The confusion was ok, and that was partially my fault, but his reply was def. uncalled for.

Ive always refered to the bolt size by the head, and if Im talking about the thread size, I mention the threads per inch.
