I picked this up from Craig's list recently. It is a 1 3/4" Armstrong. I plan to use it for a wall hanger in my man cave. I have some old Williams open ends with black finish that may look good along with it.

Cool wrench, I don't see much Armstrong around here. I have a set of UltraPro at work 1-1/2 to 2-1/2", they are heavy, be sure it can't fall on you or your stuff. They make a heck of a noise when I drop one on cement.

Merry Christmas!

May I suggest that you oil it up before hanging to prevent it from turning to a red oxide finish..

I like the idea to spray it with clear. I may take it to work and get it warmed up to room temp wipe it down with thinner and spray it with clear. I have some plastic 1/4" dia tube to put ovet some heavy wood screws to keep it from being against metal. i hope this will prevent any rusting over time.

Drill the hole and insert a dowel rod. Problem solved.;)

I had bought a snap on wrenches as 2-3/8 and 2-1/2, proto 46mm, and gray Canada 2" and 2-1/4.... It was so huge and heavy... I got those from my Matco tool dealer as tried to rid those...

Here are a few of my larger Bonney Loc-Rite's: couple 1 1/2's, a 1 5/8 and a 1 3/4 (with a Bonney 1/4 wrench on the open end).
