My $10 Columbian 603 Vise

Found this little Columbian 603 in the basement at an estate sale. It appeared to be partially submerged in water for a time as the base was very crusty, but they only wanted $10 for it. I decided to pull it apart and clean it up a bit. Surprisingly everything came apart very easily.

Its a little beat up, but I thought it cleaned up pretty well. I should have taken some more before photos, but didn't really think of it at the time. Just have one from the morning I bought it. I probably should scrap the paint off the of the "T" part of the inserts...

What type of paint did you use??

Basic Rust-Oleum Hammered finish paint from the hardware store; I stripped it down to bare metal, then applied 3 coats.

No one would leave that behind for 10 bucks, including me. Nice rescue at, "You ****." pricing.
