This is my 16x40. It was built in 1999 as the P.O. of my house's dream and sadly he never worked in the heated shop since he died before it was done.

I added the workbench from another outbuilding we have that was his original workshop for 50 years.I wanted a bench in my garage and we needed the storage space in the building. The Tube TV got thrown in there since no one wants them anymore I just split an RCA cable to give it signal.

The Stainless box stores my Automotive tools. it's not a PROTO it's a Steeltek brand from Sam's Club about 10 years ago. I used it for years when I was turning wrenches. never had a problem. Since I have a large amount of PROTO Tools I added the badges to this box. The waterloo boxes have my carpentry tools in them.

THis is the original Heated workshop. When I bought the house the original plan was to tear the wall down and make it 2 car deep. when we had another kid and I lost my extra space in the house I moved my stuff in here It's been given the name "Bar-Age". In the winter I usually work out of here since I heat it with a Kerosene heater. I can get it to 75 degrees when it's sub 20 out. eventually I want to insulate the parking stall so I can use the heater in there if I want to work out there.

It is a great looking shop. I would leave it as is. I like the size and length just works out great. I have a similar situation only in a two car. I would like to thank you for flying the American Flag. As an army retiree, it makes me smile when I see people respecting the flag and the country we live in.

Best Regards

I've flown a flag on that shop since Day one. Wouldn't have it any other way. the LED lights are on 24/7 too so it is lighted.

That is one huge "one car" haha.

I should take a picture to show why it was built like that. on one side there is a set of railroad tracks used about once a week for the Mining Operation I work at so the garage had to be a certain distance from those, on the other side is a tree the P.O. didn't want to remove so he went deeper instead of wide. they only had one vehicle so he built his shop in the back. apparently that was not part of the plan originally.

Used some Menards Rebate checks and picked up a compressor. Never had one before. Don't know how I never bought one. They are so handy. No more running to the gas station to fill my portable tank!

My old grinder started smoking this morning so I replaced it

This one isn't half the grinder of the old one but it will suit my needs.... I wanted a smaller one since this will be mounted to my work bench when I get my Drill Press to put on this stand.

I have never seen a grinder like your old one. I would be tempted to shop it around and see if it could be rewound for an antique, and then paint it up the original colors. It would be really cool in the shop.

yup its not going anywhere just yet but i find myself using a grinder so much I can't be without one so I burned up a Menards Rebate check on the small one.

First Official Project in the Redone shop- Cleaned up, changed oil and adjusted brakes on the Old quad I've had sitting around for 10 years. Going to try a 40 mile ride with it Saturday
