In my opinion you've got a GREAT start!

Drywall up, electrical in, lights in the shop look good. You've got it made

Everything will look real good with paint on it - just make sure you use primer before you paint that drywall and prime it WELL...otherwise you'll end up with peeling paint like I did

I have decided to leave it the way it sits. It actually looks cool. Thanks for your .02

May be I'm the only one, but I'd leave the bench as is. Those marks & stains all tell a story-may be not of something you've done but it's the garage history.
It adds real world charm IMHO.

So we did a little changing around at work and our old front counter was just calling to be used in my shop. I thought it would look good if i used part of it behind where my toolbox will go.
