Hi guys, I've used several ideas from this site and thought I'd share my progress so far. I started with a standard 2-car townhouse garage full of a project car and assorted junk. The before pics look extra messy as I had pulled everything away from the walls...but it was still pretty bad.

So far, we've painted and added the chair rail, added wall cabinets, added a closet under our stairwell and we're finally making some headway on all the clutter. I also picked up the stainless workbench from IKEA and my compressor fits under it perfectly. The car is still a mess in these pics but it is getting better with all the new storage. Next is the flooring! So thank you guys for all the great ideas and I'll continue to update with new pics.

your garage is pretty close in size to mine. How are things progressing, any more pics?

What was the cost of the work bench from IKEA? Did you have to go to the store or have it shipped? Closest to me is about 3.5 hours away.

Just spent about 20 minutes on IKEA website and could not find your bench. PLEASE give me more details on it like model number, series, or whatever. I think it would look good in my garage too! I have almost the same compressor and like the way it fits under the bench neatly.

Wow, that's a huge improvement!! I did the same paint scheme (I did the same color too, hehe).

EDIT: I'm in a townhome also, and I have to keep our trash AND recycling bin in the garage, lost floor space for sure :( but taking trash out from the house is a snap. :)
PLEASE give me more details on it like model number, series, or whatever.
+1

That's a nice size workbench for my 2-car garage, details!!

Hi guys, the workbench is called "Udden," it was $119. I picked it up at the store, but you can buy it online here: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80059652

I've cleaned up the rest of the boxes that were on and around the Firebird but no other major changes so far. I just got a quote on flooring and I'm hoping to get it done around Christmas/New Year's. Here's a newer pic but not much of a difference. Thanks guys!
