Got this today. I have no use for it, but the price was right. It needs some cleaning, a new lock and an emblem. The rust is just some slight surface-some rubbed out with a wipe from my hand-Does anyone know if Kennedy sells the emblems?

That is one of the mechanics boxes. I have the mating top and intermediate I bought new in the lat 70's or early 80's.

Not sure about emblem availability but a call to them or an Email to their service department should answer that.

No use for it? :wtf: Make it into a tool stand for a chop saw or bench to DP.... Put a steel plate top on it and make it into a welding bench. Lots of options...

Well, its not that I have "no use for it", I just don't have any room. I'm gonna be restoring my Mustang, and garage space will be at a premium. Too bad, because I like it.

Yeah, they are nice. Does anyone know if there is a way to date these? The drawer sticker is still there, I can look tonight when I get home.

I have a Kennedy older then that one that I don't think every held a tool. I made s simple wood top and use it as a service cart. I like it better then the several service carts from blue point, mac and cornwell I have had in the past. By the way, nice roller.

This is GarageJournalDotCom you know. A new build thread would be welcome and then you'd have room for your new favorite box (well this week).

Dave, also has that box and some.

Trust me, I'd LOVE to do a build, but I'm on a city lot and don't have the room. My neighborhood is zoned Commercial/Residential, so I COULD build a nice shop IF I had the room. Then again, I do hate yard work and all.....
