I completed this garage about 3 years ago. since I have completed the drywall, lighting and paint..all is left is to decide on epoxy or porcelin for the floor and a scissor lift.

specs:
22'wx24" deep
8' 9" ceiling
roof truss with 10x24 loft storage
100 amp sub panel, CATV, Internet
6" 3500 psi slab
80gallon 10hp compressor

..I could not stop once I finished the garage and added a 12x18 post and beam greenhouse on the back to house the hottub. From there I also added a built in BBQ with the extra stone !

What kind of cabinets are those?

there were a brand carried by HOME DEPOT about 4 years ago. They came with 1 tall cabinet, 1 small drawer and 1 small cabinet as well as a 8" workbench. They were origoanally $800.00 for the set on clearance for $200.00..needless to say my buddy and I bought the last 3 sets we could find at local DEPOTs...I will have to look again for the brand.

I will try to fire off some pics this weekend if the weather holds. Time for the fall cleaning anyway.

Here are a few pics of the p-cars.

Why 3 windows in the top front ?

The windows, stone front and shake shingles on the gable end tie in the to the architechture of the house.

This is a more recent pic of the house including a 700sqft addition to the oppisite side from the garage.

Cost start to finish was aprox $8500. I did all of the work myself from the drawings to finish. Had a few freinds help with the mud part of the slab. It is constructed as a pole building. If you look at the side pics you will see the 6x6 timber with the walls inbetween. Saved a lot on the foundation. No major excavation needed. Just a 12"x36" concrete pillar at each post ( rented an auger). From there I dug a 12" x 12" trench around the whole paremiter tieing all of the pillar holes together for strength. All was poured together with a 6" slab ontop and lots of mesh and rebar. The roof is an attic trussed roof 19" o/c..I opted for the tighter spacing instead of the recommended 24" span. The drywall and lights and insulation cost me another $1200.00 last fall.

Thanks for the interest.
