First post but a long time lurker, now it's my turn. lol!!

It's nothing special compared to what some of you guys have and have done.

Bought the house (25yrs old) last year in July first thing I did was makeover the man cave. Great feature is the walk-up from the basement which is very handy.
All the work was done by me with a little help from my dad. Here's just some of the pics I took.

The way the previous owner had it.

New concrete foundation under the new 2X6 wall structure. Plugs are setup for 20amps, roughed-in alarm wires, garage opener wires and central vac pipes inside walls.

The new walk-up area drywalled and being taped, plus the others walls being patched up. They were in awful condition.

Being all painted up, nothing fancy and no stripes. I wanted a clean look.

A shot of my cabinets being built and the finished look so far. That corner is cleaned out I just have the garbage cans there.

All that's left to do is the flooring which will be done out of porcelain tiles and then the car hoist will be put in place for my toy.

^^ I never really thought about it. With the (4 post) lift being bolted down I don't think it should be much of a problem. But I will contact the lift company and see what they say.
