My 2 car garage update

So I have finally gotten around to starting the garage project at our place. The main garage area is 22x22 and I have almost an equal size in the basement for my shop and "attic" area. We have a raised cape cod style house where the garage is underneath with the basement.

I just finished drywalling, painting and storage of the first wall.

It is not the best picture but it will do for now.

Unfortunately, we recently departed with the show car.

Hmm, if that deck beam is strong enough you could hoist engines there...

It is a multi-lamiate wood beam sheeted in Aluminum flashing. I actually have to replace it soon as it is starting to sag in the middle.
