Newbie on the forum here. I'm finally to the siding stage of my detatched garage build. It's a 24 x 24 made with 2"x6"'s. The house only had a 1 car garage in front, so this will add space for 2 more plus some additional room to work in. I will be installing an air compressor, oven for Powder Coating, and a 2 Post Lift. I had the slab poured 6" thick with 20" x 18" footers. I bought premade trusses with a 2.5/12 pitch to keep the roof line legal in comparison to the house as per Arlington Tx building codes. I installed an 18' x 9' insulated garage door, then had it sprayed with foam insulation. Should have it sided by end of July 4th weekend. Thought I would share a few pics.

Like the looks of that insulation. Will be following your build.

Looks like your neighbor behind you did not following the Arlington building code with the roof of his out building.

That house is actually on the border and is considered Pantego. Different restrictions.

Driveway going in. It has a 10.5' x 24' section along the side of the house. The house already had a driveway poured halfway down it's side.
