My 24x24 build so far...

Approximately 1 month ago i started tearing down my 65 year old 14x24 garage.Pretty much by the time i got it flattened i got laid off from work.So now this just turned into a super budget build,called on a lot of favors,was donated lots of freebies,and owe a bunch of return favors.So here we go.

Looks good so far. Believe me, I know how that lay off stuff goes. Got laid off May of '08 drew unemployment for 22 mos. Fortunately (haha) I was enough of a geezer to take early retirement at that point. BUT, I've made more progress on the garage since then than I did before. I've turned into a master scrounge. You can get a lot of good material for pennies on the dollar or even free. Keep us posted.

BTW, I really like that Maverick!! I'm doing a Chevy II but I'm lovin' the steelies and dog dish look.

Thanks! I always wanted a car with dog dishes and coulden't resist putting them on the Comet.And i do have a soft spot for Chevy II's
