Dang man, you work FAST!

For your trim error...Just put 7/8ths of a picture frame around that corner with a printed sheet inside it that says "Measure THREE times". It'll make it funny so you won't stare in anger at it all the time.

That's how I "fix" my screwups

Looks good. Like the roll out, additional bench space is always a plus.

It wasn't really about additional space as it was about having a bench I could work 360 degrees around. Came in mighty handy today when I was assembling a table saw stand, it was so night to be able to walk around the project as oppose to having to move the pieces around or awkwardly stretch.

I am going to go ahead and call this 'project complete'. I've unpacked and put all my tools away in their new homes. I've built the final shelf for my crates. Now I get to use the garage. Here are the final pictures.

Not a lot of room when the truck and the quad/tank are in there. I am going to disassemble that scaffold and stow it elsewhere. Hopefully tomorrow I transfer my P-car from my other garage into this one. Should make more room.

Tomorrow I get to clean this garage up and move the P-car from this garage into the other. I am hoping I can fit my truck in here.

Not any updates. I more or less consider it complete. I've been using it extensively to rebuild my car.

Well, the porsche had a bad starter ring so I had to replace it. It just snow balled from there.

The most frustrating thing has been the wait for parts. Shipping is either ludicrously expensive for frustratingly slow. I spent all of last week tracking and watching a part take 7 days to get from LA to San Fran before starting it's journey here.

Well done, tackling all that in your new garage. Exactly the reason we build our caves. Try not to think about all the time its taking and think more about the money you're saving and the self satisfaction you're getting by doing it yourself. Throw a periodic update on your thread as you make progress in reassembly.

Periodic update: It's back together. It just needs some test drives to dial in the suspension height and then an alignment. Followed probably by some more brake bleeding and fixing the few things that will inevitably crop up.

Nothing overly wrong with the maxjax. Customer service wasn't really there and the over all quality of the fittings wasn't that great but that's what I paid for. I wanted the portability and flexibility it affords me. If I could do it all over again I would look hard at a Triumph C7000. It goes higher and with a tiny car like mine I have room to raise it a lot more.
