Finally for tonight, a lot of what I have done is unpack. I moved to different states every couple of years for a decade, and then I didn't really have room to unpack and use my stuff efficiently. So unpacking has been pretty satisfying as I come across stuff that I bought or found over the years.

I've been trying to put like with like, and that is helping to show me my duplicates. That's about it for today. I will be trying to post more.

So my dd blew a head gasket at 210,000 a couple weeks ago. I've been driving the Dodge since. It has been running pretty well. I bought new tires and it steers and goes down the road great. I need to replace the wiper bushings as the wipers aren't working.

The Dodge's headlights also ****. A couple adjusters are broke, and I think the bulbs have had condensation inside that has ruined their aim. I am wondering about leds, but not sure I want to pop for JW Speakers or the like. Anyone help me understand?

Thanks!

It's been a minute. I have some time off and am working on things again a bit. In working on the never-ending straightening up, I realized that the most efficient way to get your space and wits about you is just to throw stuff in the trash. Time being the most valuable thing.
The easier/valuable something is, the more likely it is best to sell.

Next task is working on filling a couple of trash cans to make some space and putting somethings away....

Thanks @bdbecker! I did get my curb cans filled before they were picked up this morning. It helped open some room but I need to cut deeper lol. No pictures yet, you know what a trash can looks like. But still trying to make progress.
We have several skunks in the neighborhood. My backyard is fenced, but that doesn't stop wildlife. Our beagle is pretty interested in the damn skunks and they're winning, 3-0.

Here's a picture of a little floor space. Also known as progress. Went through a couple boxes today before taking my13 yo for his physical and then dentist appointments. He grew 5 inches lol!

Slow going with selling the junk I want to move. I’m continuing to clean/move/empty the garage and list surplus for sale.
I have three sheds, two are 8x12 and one is 10x18 with gambrel roof. All have 7’ height. There are mowers, bikes, motorcycles stored there. The 10x 18 sits along the back wall of my 24x24.

I’m wondering how well the 10x18 would work as a dedicated work space. It already has some power. It will obviously be a bit small, but as a wood shop it would keep the dust out of the garage. It might be damp 🤷🏼‍♂️?
I’ve searched for small shop post/videos and don’t find what I think is helpful considering this option.

Current situation shown in photo.
Any suggestions? Thanks…

It could certainly be done provided you aren't batching out kitchen cabinets or large pieces. It would also depend on what size equipment you have. My buddy's Dad has a pretty well equipped woodshop setup in a 12'x12' room in the basement of his house. Other than his table saw, everything is on wheels so it can be stored away easily, or is a benchtop version of a larger tool. He's made all sorts of neat stuff in that little room over the years. It'd be nice if you had at least an 8' ceiling, but again, depending on what sort of projects you plan on doing, it might not be much of an issue.

The moisture issues could be addressed with some insulation and a through-wall air conditioner during the summer. Not sure how humid your winters are in VA, but a well insulated space could be kept pretty comfortable with nothing more than a $75 oil filled electric radiant heater.
