The compressor is outside in a back corner as far away from our house and the neighbors as I could get it. I finally had time to run the lines into the garage.

Nice and neat job. Love the Gulf sign and stripe!

I don't recognize the tubing you used for compressed air. Looks way easier to install than all the cutting and threading for iron pipe or the soldering involved in running copper.

Thanks Shiftless! I Found it on one of those Lowes runs where you just kind of walk around aimlessly. Its good for 150psi, was very easy to work with and I was done in a couple of hours. I would recommend adding an in-line pressure gauge and a water seperator, which in retrospect I wish I would have added on the initial installation.

Ive had the notch for about 10 years now. It was a pretty simple heads/cam/intake car. Car was fun, put down 281/30?. In 2005 that was enough to be competitive, today not so much. Bought an S trim that has been put on hold during the construction project. Maximum coilovers and arms in the front, contemplating making the rear IRS.
Working on it will be so much nicer now, wrenching in the one car was a challenge.
Stangspace, I wish I could hire you to work on my engine bay, yours came out exactly like I wish mine would.

I know what you mean about respectable power then vs now. Honestly though they are still a whole lot of fun to drive with the heads/cam/intake combo. I've had mine for 15 years, it took me 4 years of planning and 3.5 years of building to get it where it's at now. An IRS swap would be really cool in your coupe. It would handle like it's on rails. I'm actually doing what I did to my engine bay to my buddy's coupe right now. It's so much easier the second time. Good luck with it though, it's going to be fun no matter what you do. Thanks for the air line idea also.
