I've about had it with incompetent mechanics. I wish you could just trust a guy to do the work right..

I'm replacing the head gasket on my 97' Integra and started putting it back together yesterday and realized I was missing one of the head alignment dowels.

So, I decided to pull the other one out, just to look at it..

Obviously the last guy who worked on this thing thought better of replacing the one they left out and the one they damaged. Put the damaged side down..

Well, I finished up the head gasket swap and couldn't figure out why the engine bay smelled so good.. Then I realized what the smell was...

Glad to have the Integra out of the right bay. I'm seriously considering laying the garage out to turn it into a 1 bay garage and use the right half as a mini-machine/wood shop..
