Got it off a buddy who is cleaning up shop. Not the best vise, jaws are cracked and welded on. Unsure if the nut for the moving jaw is correct for this vise or not? But everything works and is better than that little dinky 3" China vise I was using before.
I'm sort of contemplating tig brazing the jaws with some sort of silicon or aluminum bronze then read facing them since they don't close completely true. Not sure yet.

I have a similar one even teenier than that I just picked up at an auction. It's a nice little vice but I hate that little circlip that pulls the moving jaw out. It seems way light. Anyway, for $25 it looks nice on your bench.

Not to add insult to injury, but it looks like the dynamic jaw is sprung as well.

I've looked on Craigs and ebay and even picked a few places. For a couple years. In my area there are no "garage journal" deals. I rather give him the $25. I'm just excited to have something that can take a beating. Hell it lasted this long.. like I said it's only $25 and already tweaked and welded on. I don't care if I bump the grinder into it. Smack it with a hammer get welding slag stuck to it...

But. No offense to me. I'm happy :)

Oh no, it's a vise to use, not polish... What is the world coming to?! I would have bought it for $25 in a heartbeat.
