Taping was a pain, but if you take your time it looks great. Good luck when you attempt it, I wish I had known about that idea before hand. I am trying to think of other ways to get a pinstripe, the automotive stripe I tried is peeling off, I was thinking about possibly masking it again quick for a thin black stripe and just doing it with a sharpie but i dont want to mess it up. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

You should make it a two bay by putting your tool box in the middle so it seperates them into diffrent ones.

One way to make crisp paint lines is to paint the tape & just past both edges by about a 1/2 inch or so (in your case) white (the color of the wall). the paint will seep under the tape where it likes & it wont matter. The paint will also seal the edge of the tape! So when you paint the color, paint can no longer seep under the paint sealed tape. When you peel the tape off the white that seeped under is the same as the wall/stripe & your left with a crisp line.
I hope that makes sense to you!
What you could do would be to tape on both the blue & the grey just about 1/16th" from the white. Paint the color along the edge of the tape that is under the tape. Actually painting your stripe kind of 1/2 blue & 1/2 grey. Sealing the tape edge with that paint. Then when dry, paint the stripe white. that should clean up your lines.
Test a small area first tho please. I don't want to be responsible for messing up what you already have there.
The bad that could happen is the tape could pull off your color.

Good luck with it what ever you try.

How you guys doing, I have decided to go the HD Behr epoxy way. But here is my question, can you do it in sections? I have a 60 Gallon air compressor that is a pain the move and I have no where to put it. How would you guys suggest going about this?
Here is where I am at now...

Its looking very nice, I like the color combo, Personally I would either put tool boxes on one side or the other, or on the back wall if there is room. I would not divide the two bays, I think that would just create wasted space. But again it is all personal preference.

Mac, I will probably be putting it against the back wall, makes for more room to pull in the truck, the wifes car, or my buddies cars. Plus when i get my project car I will be most likely doing it body off the frame so I will need as much room as possible..

Anyone thoughts on doing the floor?

Threw some pictures on the walls today along with a few license plates.

Blue tape below the pictures was where I was going to mask off a section to write something but decided against it.

License plates, Top is Djibouti, Africa, Middle is Sigonella, Italy, and bottom is Niern, Scotland.

Also hadnt masked anything in awhile and wanted to dedicate part of the garage to the first car club I ever joined and to alot of good friends. The blue center will be white the white will be blue. Tc, stands for Twisted Customz. I will post pictures of the car I built later on.
