Picked one up today at HD. While I often drool over some of the posts here...due to my lifestyle and interests, I will never end up with the garages and tools a lot of you have invested in. But one thing I have taken away from this place is the realization that I am totally unorganized.

I've got tools all over the place. I've got small parts off different projects and small misc. stuff I'm losing all the time. I don't have a dedicated workshop/garage so any storage containers/ tool boxes have to be portable.

It may not be the best, but for 34.99+ tax I don't think I could beat it. I'm afraid though that even my meager collection of sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc. will probably fill this one quickly. I've got my eye on a few other types of boxes on Ebay and will probably pick up another one of these when I see how much other stuff I've got scattered about.

At least it's the start to a more organized future. Thanks for the motivation. :)

That's a good deal on a small box. I suspect you'll end up doing what I did, and that's keep adding more boxes. First one, then one more, then another...I just went out and purchased my 44 HF bottom box yesterday and am going to pick up the top as soon as I can locate a coupon for $269. I just hope I don't have to wait until their sidewalk sale days to get it.

Don't worry, I am now using my 3 drawer box I have (similar to yours), but plastic as my traveling tool box.

Even if you don't end up with a big tool collection, it's nice to keep it all organized and easy to transport. Enjoy!
