I found a ratty, broken, bent, corroded, and smelly 1/4" ratchet in a junk box at the flea market for $5. I couldn't see any marking due to the condition. I negotiated down to $3. Yes, $5 was more than fair, but it's the flea market. And negotiate we must!

After a day in evapo-rust, I could make out a 'p-on'. However I've never seen a font like it. I called SO. They said maybe and send it in. I sent it in. I was only expecting an ID of the ratchet. After 3 months I get a brand new ratchet. No paperwork or notes. Just a ratchet in a bag.

My only complaint? I didn't take pics of the original ratchet because I was almost 100% certain it was coming back to me.

Snap On has been good to me. I purchased a well used KRL 791 and 791 top and bottom cabinets. I had some bad casters and a few drawer slides were rough. Without me sending the old ones in, they sent out brand new ones. They told me to just throw the old ones out. The service for me has been very good.
