This is all I have fo the ground floor ... this is a 1860 cow barn i rebuilt .. they would have never allowed me to build it new in this location 20' from the street.

Two things.

1. I am obsessed with old barns. Do you have any "before" and "during" pics of the rebuild?

2. What jack stands are those under the back of that car?

Yes ... but I would have to scan them monday ... I rebuilt this back in the 90's ... the pics are all hard copys in an album. I live on an old apple farm. They made apple moon shine in this barn.

The jack stands I inherrited from my brother ... he owned a diesel shop in Yonkers NY ... not sure of the brand I could look if its important to you ?

Yes those are Pantera's LOL The white one is a 1979 Euro GTS with about 40km all original ... the steel car is a 1973 L I'm making into a Group 4 Resto mod.

Barn restorations always end up being much more work than just building new, but they always turn out som much nicer than a new one, they have character you cant get with todays building techniques. I dont know what the shape of the barn was in before you started (sure would like to see) But from what I can see from these pics, you did a great job of saving a piece of history and giving yourself a beautiful place to work on those Panteras. Will definetly keep a lookout for more pics.

I have rebuilt/restored a few barns before and appreciate the effort it takes....Great Job!!

... Thanks for the comments, I havent had the time to finish the Barn as my business is very demanding. So the Panteras and the Barn has to wait.

Anyway the Jack stands are made by LINCOLN.

I didnt have time to scan the BEFORE pics I will try tomorrow.

Ok back to the barn .. funny story I was in the Dentist office couple years after I bought the property with the old farm house on it and there was a psoter of BARNS on the wall and there was my Barn ... I will post a pic ... the most challeneging parts were .... jacking up the entire structure on 2 sides to put a foundation under it dug the hole 24" and 36" deeep and just filled it with concrete, we were scared to try forming it up then paying block under the shored up building that was being held up by jacks 10' long

The other was building the concrete wall ( faced with stone ) to hold the mountain back ... it has 9' wide x 24" thick footings and the wall is 12" poured concrete in an L shape 12' high ... the rebar is double mat epoxy coated ...41 yards of concrete ... I built it with a friend in the concrete business.

Yes I made it from some 3x3 box steel I found on the jobsite and some misc parts I had laying around .. like a set of old freewheeling hubs and 2 - hydraulic jacks I bought off ebay and some caster I had laying around ... couple pics for viewing ...
