Hi,
Was running thru FB Market and saw this Forge for sale.

It was made by Simonds Store on Amazon and EBAY.

Yea, it's cheap for a Forge and I would not buy one new as I like making my own but...

Looked at this as sort of a Kit, and thought, it would be fun to rebuild it, and hopefully improve it.

The good news is the important parts seem to be Stainless like the Burner Cone and the Brass Jets for the fuel delivery are replaceable.

Came with a decent Gas Regulator, good Hose and the Seller has it on a Stand which I will use after a little work.

For $30, I couldn't stand it!

I think you made out great! Would love a small forge like that. Recommend capping the working end to help protect the kaowool and make sure you have a fire brick in the bottom. Also plugging the back side will help with heat and gas use.

Hi,
Yes, there will be improvements on the rebuild.

Here is a small one I built from scratch, and found steel.

Running it with a "Mr. Volcano" $25 Burner!

Hi,
Saw this a one Burner model like my two Burner.

I do like the flame from the Burner, looks efficient!
