What kind of motorcycle lift? Did you use an airless to spray the paint? Was it kind of windy?
My 30' x 40' from the start...

yes, I did use an airless, and yes it has definitely been windy around here...LoL
ok, so its been a few days now since an update, but not much happened in those days. The only real thing visually that got done was the brick. The electrical is done also, but obviously you cant see any of it yet. I think I ended up with 23 110v outlets, and I believe 5 220V outlets. 3 of the 220's will be permanently hooked up to the lift, compressor, and hot tub... Then the 2 others will be for welders...
I guess we are coming down to the wire, so there's not much left to do anyway...Here's how the brick looks....
Its really starting to look just as I drew it up in the very first post of this thread...
Here is the only other thing that has really been done. The lift was installed Sunday (4-20), and you can barely see in the right corner the bathroom that was getting framed in in this picture...
We decided to take a break from insulating the shop and relax on the porch with some new rocking chairs we bought, and some tiki torches that we picked up this last weekend. It was very relaxing to just sit out there and listen to music playing from the house patio. We probably sat out there for at least 2 hours.
I plan on finishing the ceiling insulation tomorrow, and finish pre-wiring the speakers. There are 6 interior in ceiling speakers, and 2 outdoor speakers to be hung on the ceiling of the patio...The cable guy is also supposed to be here tomorrow to run the cable for 1 interior outlet, and one exterior outlet...

looks great. time frame is crazy quick! economy is way too hot around my area to get things done anywhere near that fast. enjoy it

We actually built the entire thing with no plans...Lol...hired a concrete guy, told him what I wanted, hired a framer and had a local lumber yard order premade scissor trusses. The framers had no problem just doing 4 walls as a rectangle without plans...
About 3 years after it was built, I knocked a 72" hole in the back wall and added another 13x28 enclosed portion with an overhead door into the back yard....
Its been along time it seems since I built this...It seemed to fill up too fast....
I still use it, but built a new shop at some land we bought....
I didn't screw around this time....60x120...probably should've done a build thread on it, it would've been more exciting...ha

I love it. You said that in one post that the trusses were custom made and in another you said they were "premade scissor trusses." Are you saying they are standard trusses? also, can you tell me what the roof pitch is? I'm going to start building this exact garage in the spring. thank you so much for posting this.
