Here is my project that I have wanted to do for a LOOONG time; the finished look will have stone on the bottom 3'; cedar planks on the remaining. I'm going to build a stone bar under the overhang for happy hours/cruise nights at my house; (stamped concrete under the overhang). The interior will have radiant heated floors, drywall, epoxy floor etc.....killer sound system. There is room for a loft upstairs as well (8')
I will post updates throughout the year (it will take me that long!)...
Thanks.

Looks cool . That is definately something I would want , outside bar and hangout area . Is the concrete under the bar area heated ?

Very nice looking building, and I like your plans. Is there any way to move the man door where it comes out to the covered porch? It seems that you would want to be able to walk out of the building and be under cover if you have it. If moving the man door is not desireable then a shed type roof over the man door would work. I'm just thinking if this of people moving in and out of the man door in rainy weather. Just a thought, again looks very nice.

Good feedback - I posted this quickly, so I'll try and answer the questions and post more pictures. Now that it's officially underway I'll post more often, in the appropriate areas.
The concrete outside will not be heated; that's what the bar is for in our house! seriously - I don't forsee much use during the harsh Buffalo winters.
I will share plans etc. shortly.
man door - I'm thinking of a small roof over the door; the wall under the overhang will be for a TV and back-bar area.
Thanks for the replies.
