I've been on here for about a year now, bit I finally pulled the trigger and had someone come build it for me. I had initially thought I could do it myself, but I just didn't have the free time with all my ot here at work.

I had planned on building a 30x40 pole barn, but my subdivision has restrictions on metal sided buildings so I contacted to have a garage built 30x40. Well after crunching the numbers the 30x40 was gonna be more than I could spend in good conscience. So I got a 30x30 w/10" ceilings.

They got the windows and.siding up today but I didn't get any pics. Turned out a little bigger than I thought it was gonna be. Wife was glad I didn't do a 30x40, we'll see......

Getting closer....

I'm thinking about running power from my house. I've got a 110v welder, 5 HP 220V compressor, fridge, and light/outlets. will 100amps off of house get it done? I'm prolly gonna get a 220 welder at some point.

8liter,

That is a great start you have! I love the wide spaces on the sides of the garage door to really give you a lot more room than a standard 2-car garage has.

Way to go!

more pictures....

Sounds like 100amps will cut it for now
but it depends on the welder your going to add later on
my Syncrowave 250 uses/requires a 110amp breaker
