Ok, so it has been a while and I have not posted much. Finally finished with the wife’s shop and moving her stuff. Here is a picture of my shop inside, it is a mess right now.

On to my shop….I have completed framing my walls out, and 95% installed R-19 insulation. I have also run 110v electrical outlets all around my shop, every 4′ so I know I have one where I need.

So over the next week I hope to finish all the 11v outlets as I have ran out of conduit and of course the local Home Depot is out of stock and it is to late in the evening to get any more this weekend. Hopefully Monday I can find some at a electrical supply outlet or some where. If I get the 110v outlets done I am going to install 4 possibly 5. Seems like I have spent a fortune in electrical supplies. Also thinking I may need to install a sub panel as when I am done with circuits I know I am going to install, my box will be full. Suggestions?

Enjoyed my visit to your web page.

Just bought an old Craftsman metal lathe. So I bookmarked the links to the MIT instructional videos. Good stuff.

The idea of his and her's shops is brilliant. My wife is a pack rat and her solution to every storage problem is "my shop." Guess I have to take a clue from you and build her some storage space.

Got me another 200' of ENT Conduit to get me close to finished on my wiring. Looks like I am going to get have have some fun tonight for a brief bit.

It amazes me that Home Depot ($42) was cheaper than a electrical supply house by a long shot ($73) at least I talked them down to $55 for the role so I can get some work done. Home Depot could not tell me when they would have more in stock.

Ok, I am finishing up my electrical today, but I am trying to decide on my walls and ceiling. Do I use 1/2" Plywood or 1/2" drywall for 1/2 the cost and paint it nice? What are the Pro / cons of each. What would you do?
