I have been a lurker and admirer for some time of all the great garages here, after almost 2.5 years my garage is almost done and ready for me to start my first rebuild in a great environment. Here are a few picts of the almost final products. Looking forward to continuing the enhancements being inspired by all of you.

Specs:

30x40 Stick Built Garage
Three 9 foot garage door bays from the front
One 9 Foot garage door in the rear
9' Foor Ceilings with a center cathedral ceiling for a future lift
Black Polyaspartic flooring, rock hard and shiny

I have done most of the work on the inside and helped to build the structure.

Here are some pictures of when the build started in 2011. It has come a long way from a rough shell!

Holy Guacamole! Love your space. You have done a great job with the layout and design. Great bar/seating area. Reminds me a little of the 'M' Garage on here.

Remember more pics the better!

This is exactly the size, layout and type of garage I'd like to build - I've been struggling to decide between a metal pole building style and a stick built as you've done - I know it varies depending on geographically but what is the price range for this as the original shell?

Thanks - Great Garage!!!

Question for the OP - what's your roof pitch and interior height under the scissor lift section? High enough for a typical 2 post lift?

Thanks and gorgeous space you have there!

Based on a few of the questions posted:

Cost was about $25,000 with concrete and a 40x36 apron out front and Drywaller with paint. I general contracted the entire process and did all the electric myself.

The pitch is a 6/12 with 9 foot base walls and cathedral trusses in the middle and storage trusses on the ends. The middle bay height is about 15' and could easily do any 2 post lift
