I picked up this Eagle dent puller over the weekend for $40... Does anyone have one of these units, or know of them? I would like to get more info on it

yeah it does work, I re-ground the electrode to a point.... Now is there a way to weld stud pins, like a traditional handheld stud welder gun???? It has an electrode for the spot weld, and also a shrinking tip ????

I don't think so, why do you want to weld the pins on? Don't need it with that thing.

Good Ol Pete using one of those dent pullers

You put the pin into the hole in the end of the shrinking tip. Then you hold it aginst the car, and press the trigger.

I think he did a better job in the 2nd video. I love it when he says. "I'm using the flat end of the hammer instead of the pancake end, or whatever the **** you want to call it."

Uh, Pete, I'd call that a cross pein body hammer. :)

Edit: I watched a couple more of his videos. I'll take back what I said. The guy is pretty good with that tool. And that tool is a hell of a lot better than a stud welder.

40 bucks? You stole it and you ****.

I looked at the picture of yours and then RAN out to my Garage to make sure mine had not been stolen.....

Pete uses the 12V car battery unit.

You got a good deal. I paid $200 for mine.

I am currently using it with Grade 8 bolts and Grade 3 bolts with the tops ground off. I have an angle adapter for my grinder that I run the bolts through to get the 45 degree angle on them. I am still comparing what is better for the Anode, Grade 8 or Grade 3.
