Nice building and nice lift! Also, a very clean mk3 you have there, just parted mine out

Thanks! I picked it up not running and fixed it, with the intention of selling it. Then 2 weeks ago I blew the engine in my Cutlass, and ended up putting it on the road instead.

Wow! There are so many ways that lift install could have gone terribly wrong doing it solo, but you lucked out and 'got-r-done'! My hat is off to you Sir.

No one has ever accused me of being smart, and there's a good reason for it!

I'm new to the area, and don't have anyone to call for help on stuff like this yet. Like always, it takes some time to sink roots and gain a support base. It'll come, but wasn't in time for this project.

Cool. I was in Mexico. I'm glad to be away from the rusty cars.

My building nightmare continues though. The electrical inspection went fine, but the inspector told me my contractor had to call for a final building inspection. His cell phone and business phone are now disconnected. I have no building plans or plans for the trusses, and no way to get a CO. Not sure what my next move is now. Building stuff ***** when you dont know the ropes.

Joe

Looks good :rocker:

How'd you make out on the final inspection?

How tall is the bottom of the car in the pic? It looks like it'd be kinda tight with a truck on the lift? What's your opinion?
The bottom of the car is at 6'6". I am thinking it will be close to the bar with my Dodge 2500 on it, if I use all the adapters to lift it to full height, so I believe you are correct.

I would take it that you got your final inspection done ?

After 6 months, and getting flunked for everything from not having TR style outlets inside the building, and my landscaping, I finally got it. What an experience!

What are the plans to finish the inside ?

Not sure yet.

That is a gorgeous garage. Nice work!
Looks good :rocker:
Way to giterdun. Nice shop.
Thats alot of space.
I'd give my 4th child for that garage.

Thanks!! I appreciate it.

It sure does get old, and I'm getting too old for it. I have waited and saved a long time for this, and glad I have it now, that's for sure!

Bluegill Killer,
Here are a couple of pics with the Dodge on the lift. It goes all the way up while using the 6" adapters.
