My 48'x38' attached garage w/mancave has started, need your input

Hi, new member here and the site has been a tremendous help in getting this project off the ground!

First, I'm jealous of everyone who live in areas that don't have to deal with costs some of us have in the NYC/NJ area. I am in North NJ and this has been a clown show dealing with all the politics of zoning boards etc.

My garage is going to be attached to my house due to zoning, which actually turned out to be a good thing except for the added cost

As you can see from the plans it will have 3 single doors(one on the side) and 1 double. It will also have a full bathroom in a bonus room I added to the side of the garage.

I was able to increase interior ceiling height at the last minute and it will now be 17'5' instead of 16'.

The garage will have hot/cold water, slop sink, plumbed air lines etc. Heat and A/C.

Will move 2 lifts from my existing garage to the new one. Going with porcelain tiles for the floor.

I have currently planned for 16 LED Highbays at 100W, 5000K, with 11,000LM per fixture.

Questions:

Other than going bigger which I can't even though I have 9 acres, because of wetlands etc. anything you would change/add based on your experience?

Do you think it will have enough light? I like it bright, as every year my eyes get worse.

Jeez dude, doesn't look like you need to worry about cost too much.

Why porcelain tiles? I bet the first time you drop something heavy, or roll something heavy on metal casters, that you're going to break a tile.

Your lighting planner/program should be able to tell you exactly how bright it's going to be on the zone mapping sheet. I'd say you'll be fine given the relative size to lumens with 16 lights. I only needed 10 to efficiently light 5000sq ft in mine.

I have had both expoy and porcelain and prefer the look of porcelain. It has been just as durable for me.

So why do tiles is it for the look or what? I can see tile on an older floor to fix it up but new construction you could get some really nice stamped or stained concrete.
