I had started a new job at a Mack dealership being trained on loaders and hydraulics two months ago. I had originally been using a 32" Snappy KR537/557 combo, but sort of out grew it.

Menards had the boxes on sale/clearence at the time So I jumped on it and got the bottom box and put a 26" top box on it. That didnt really work as the lower box seems to be designed for use with the 41" upper box (IE; little to no support in the middle of the bottom box in the center. The top drawer would rub the top "lip").

So I bought the upper box and all is well. I added the red cabinet to it for storing some shop supplies. I also added a prybar rack. The locks in the Master force box got changed out to Snap-on tube locks. It took a little file work but they fit and work fine.

I have had no issues to speak of with the box so far, I do with the drawers were actual 18" deep though. I did move one of the smaller drawers up so all my air tool stuff is close together. Soon as I can I will be picking up the side box and possibily the side locker (not sure), as I will need more space later on.

More or less, It's not a Snap-on box but then it's not Snap-on priced. The guy's in the shop were impressed with it for the price. They have mostly all Snap-on or Mac boxes, one guy has a Husky. If the box was at home I doubt I'd ever need to buy another due to use. I'll update the thread as I encounter issues, if any.

If I was buying a new box though right now, I think I'd lean towards the newer 46" box, given both rows of drawers are the same width. Seem's a bit nicer. :dunno: But I probably wont be buying another box for a while.

The new models I I don't like the top cover and the drawer pulls. Other wise I think the quality is still there.
