Guess i should have titled it acid stained floor.
So i decided to acid stain and seal my floor. Brand new shop so virgin concrete. i cleaned it infinity times with simple green and then water. I bought the sample pack and tried about 4 colors i thought i would like. I went with Azure blue because i liked the deep vivid ocean like blue on the website. In my test it came out pretty light and turquoise looking but i figured it would darken up with some more time to stain as per conversation with legacy. Not at all the case. I also went with their clear HD6600 clear to avoid rewaxing every 6 months. The acid etch went on well i let it set longer than my test to get a deeper blue. Unfortunately this didn't work at all. the acid just stained the concrete brown. I didn't get the color i wanted but i ended up liking it. cleaning the floor after the acid was painful. mopped the floor probably 8-10 times. changing water out 10-12 times per time. The clear went on easy. The roller created lines in the clear and i had some dripping. i think spray would be the way to go to lay it down but there were no instructions on using a sprayer it just recommended rolling. attached is a picture of the floor. I like it and most people that have seen it do as well.
