my barn and everything inside

hello there
my name is jan and I live in the netherlands
here are pictures from my barn
I have made it into a museum/workshop.
here is a small story behind it.
since 1991 I went to a big junkyard in a small town in belgie named chatillon
there are pictures on the web
I went there 2 times a year and bought a lot of parts the yard is cleared in 2010
then i desided to build a museum from it
hope you like it

Damn..you should call mike and frank to come by and check out your place. I could only imagine the coolness hidden in that barn.

Mike and frank are a US tv show called american pickers. They drool over places like yours.

You definitely have a good eye for cool stuff. Is it difficult to find stuff like that in your area? I always wondered what you could find at auctions and yard sales in other countries. Hopefully one day I can find out for myself.

Thanks for the pics:beer:!!

I love your collections. I think the only collection I didn't see is your hood ornament collection.

Thank you for posting.

Real nice collection and "barn" Love your choice of a daily driver, but I'm kind of biased as my first car in 1969 was a 1963 Buick Skylark coupe, 200hp/215ci v-8 , 4 speed.
What is your drivetrain? Thanks for sharing.

The buick has its original drivetrain
a 215 v8 4bbl carb and a automatic gearbox
I do have a spare engine with a manual gearbox

Awesome Museum Jan. SPECIALLY THE BUICKS and MOST SPECIALLY THE '54 Roadmaster. I think I have seen that car before, perhaps on the '54 Buick Highway? There is a guy on the Highway now named Andre from the Netherlands who is building a 54 Special custom you may want to check out.

Pretty nice 54 B steering wheel next to that awesome Matador cabinet. If you ever visit the USofA be sure to visit me at Buick Gardens, we'll go riding in some '54's.

I like you Netherlands guys style. Thanks for sharing!!! MrEarl
