So I looked at hoists for about a month before I went with the BendPak.
For what im doing it seems to be the best in the price range for a 12K lb hoist. and they do seem to be a lot of people with the BO hoists and not having issues with them.
I picked up the hoist on Saturday and brought it home.
unpacked everything and so far the only issue iv found is one of the truck U shaped adapters was never welded right, and is broken,
other than that it seems like a sturdy built two post.
the pads are 25" wide by 22" long. so nice and wide.
the posts are HEAVY lol. I could barley lift the top side of one post off the ground lol.
hope the FLICKR link works for pics

it'll be a bit before I can install the hoist tho. I have to saw out the cement and make new pads as I only have 4 1/2" of cement and I need 6" min.
my plan was to cut 2 4x4 slabs out and put in 4 foot piles, along with a 10" slab....
unless anyone on here thinks that is not going to work.
