Just picked this 6 foot Aluminum Johnson level for $8. It was at an antique store in my town. The downtown area was having a sidewalk sale. Not a nick on it. It won't see much use but for 8 bucks I couldn't pass it up. Plenty of immature jokes now have a subject in my garage.

I will have to download that software. Yes, the level was at an antique. It stook out like a sore thumb. Somebody didn't know what they had.

Antique owners seem to declare what ever they have in stock as an antique. In this instance the level is more valuable than an antique and you got a steal.

As a kid I got drug around to antique stores with my parents. I hated it. But is was truly antiques. Now, to me, they have become more of consignment shops. I don't go often and yesterday was a special day. But when I go I search out old tools because of this site. I just finally got a little lucky.
