My birthday present...

What a weekend. My wife and I just about did ourselves in with family. My mother and I have the same birthday (June 10), so it was pretty much bonkers at my parents' house.

Anyway, i wanted to share with you my latest tool... it was a birthday present from my parents and my in-laws:

A new Stihl FS110 to go along with my well-worn FS 76.

My wife bought me a new 16" bar and chain for my 023. Nice little saw:

All in all, I think it was a pretty cool weekend.

Very nice -- I got a weed wacker with a steel blade, always handy for those little trees that seem to spring up here and there. I have another one that has string, but I put those line adapters. The plastic blades break off after a while, but the string holders are handy, as you can use .60 sized (thick) line as replacement. I have a plastic shoe box that basically is the same length as the little replacement lines need to be, so I can whip up cheapie replacements pretty quick.

I have an old Stihl weedwacker, it starts everytime and it actually feeds the line!
