In light of the fact that I am building a new garage at our house I decided to finally buy myself some tools that weren't hand-me-downs.... :bounce:

And to hold it all a 22 drawer, 40 inch tool chest with ball bearing and griplatch drawers...

Nice tool score.

If the 19.2 is the single speed version they usually sell on black friday take it back and get the regular two speed version.

It is the single speed but it was $39.99 versus over a hundred. It will serve me for now... But thanks for the advice!

How much did the box run? I would love to get one of those 40" griplatch combos to replace my 26" stack, but I think it's US General for me...

yea those gearwrench flex heads and the torque wrenches were a sweet steal on black friday. I picked up a 1/2 torque wrench and a metric set of the aforementioned gearwrenches :)

Nice haul. I wanted to get a couple of the torque wrenches but was out of town at the relatives' house and couldn't sneak away. Maybe next year.

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET! Congratulations on pushing more than one buggy to the counter! :)

I have used a couple of those torque wrenches for 7.5 years. They have done fine for me. I've had the larest one for a couple of years, and itworks fine, too.

I picked up three more of the torque wrenches. When I assembled one of the cases, I crushed one of the plastic mounting hollow posts. I was able to reform it without too much trouble, but here is some advice on how to assemble the cases. Take out the wrench. Have a seat. Slightly bend the bottom case over your knee to bow it a little bit. This makes the distance between the two hollow portions longer. Insert one side of the top lid fully into one hollow post, then insert the other side. If you try to just slide them down into postion, the hollow portion may crush down like mine did.

If you don't like those cases, they have some sturdier ones that are around $8 each , available online. I have all three and they have done well, too.

That small plastic utility cart was calling my name. :)

If you are talking about the black ones, they are the new China Cman spline wrenches, non-ratcheting, those make me sick, seeing the Cman name one those things. No offense to the OP:), Sears marketed those, for unsuspecting customers, buying their USA tools, they are a China test decoy.:(

Nice score. There's only two problems. 1) This is just the beginning, despite all you've got, you'll always need more. And, 2) When you've got tools, people expect you to fix stuff. Enjoy.

Yeah I always check the "Made In" label and noticed they were made in China. Irritates we as well but they are good "just in case" tool to have.... They don't make a true "Craftsman" version do they?

i want to know what space you're storing all these tools in. on a buy like this i'd like to see what you'll be tooling in. good buys nonetheless.

The garage just started construction...it's going to be 24 feet wide by 32 feet deep with 12 foot ceilings. Will have a single four-post lift. Haven't decided on cabinets but the flooring will be epoxy....

Regarding breaking them in I have a 2004 supercharged M3 as my weekend car...I find myself wrenching on that thing here and there trying to eek out more power....plus I do all the maintenance on my fiancees Mercedes CLK430.
