Hey all, I finally took it upon myself to take a picture of my blacklight garage. It is a unique one at that too. My car I have in there is a BMW 335xi, I have some good shots of it in there. What do ya think?

I see you kinda went a different direction with your garage. However, I can appreciate it. I used to have a few blacklight posters in my bedroom in my younger years, sublime, metalica, and grateful dead. Hell, I remember one night coloring my head with a highlighter acting like an alien. I won't mention what I was on or what was going through my head. Anyhow, creative space you have there. And drugs are bad, mmmmmkkkkkk.

Thanks! Im about to hire a professional painter to paint me a huge black light painting on the wall there in my garage. It's going to be about 7 feet tall and 12 feet wide!

my brother took his favorite poster, gridlined it and then enlarged it on the wall. I think it was a dragon, 6 ft tall when done! It came out pretty good and hes not an artist by any stretch. Ive also seen it done with an overhead projector. just shoot it on the wall and trace.

I actually made all my money selling a World of Warcraft leveling guide that I wrote. I got famous by winning a contest held by the company (Blizzard.com), and then sold a strategy guide on how I won it.

It looks cool, and it's different for sure. Other than that, I've backspaced the rest of my comment.

Kudos to you for making the money you did.

Thanks! I recently just ordered some vasaline glass objects to put in the garage. Vasaline glass is special glass that glows really cool in a blacklight, so I cant wait till I get that. Im always trying to think of more stuff I can do with my garage :)

You might be talking about Atomic Glass (that's what I've heard it called). It glows green in black light.

Ages ago I painted a Black Pocket-T with the Stray Cat's logo on the pocket and the Cat's Head on my left shoulder in Black Light fabric paint. It was a real hit at the girly-bars.

My favorite black light memories are from college - when a well endowed girl in a loose knit sweater would walk into the dark room when the black light was on!

Cool garage....everybody has a unique style! I hate the words World of Warcraft.....every time my 17 year old step-son starts talking about World of Warcraft, I want to stab myself in the face. He plans to make a living and becoming a famous whatever too! It can happen, right? Sorry to rant on your thread.....

As others have said... unconventional but still well done. It looks awesome in there.

I like your other projects too; the movie theater bedroom is stunning.

if youve ever seen the movie Orphan that came out a couple yrs ago, doing only black light paintings only would be pretty cool/ creepy

I actually do not have work lights in there right now. I used to, but replaced them with more blacklights. I actually hardly ever work in this garage. And for anything that I do work on, I simply do it during the daytime and open the garage and I can see everything clearly.

I do have a plan of putting in separate bright lights to work with some time though.
