gonna have any of your builds at the Greenfield Village car show next weekend?

Actually yes there will be a few of my old work at the show. Between 10 and 20 years ago most of what I did was cars for 1910's to 1960's now most are 1970's muscle cars. In fact I use to do the work for Les Henry the curator for the car museum at Greenfield Village on his personal collection before his passing.

Do I see a surfboard in the corner of the pool room? Surfing in Michigan? On a lake? Insane place by the way.

No the surfboard is just a prop the wife bought to decorate the room and thanks for the comments.

Nice... Is the pool room heated (how)? How do you deal w/ humidity in that room?
Issue with your whole house smelling of chlorine?

Awesome property but why do you have a cover on an indoor pool? It doesn't appear to be one of those covers that you can walk on.

Room does not need heat the pool keeps it warm in the winter. We keep it covered when not in use to control humidity and keep the heat in the pool. In the summer we open the windows. No problem with the chlorine smell at all in the house. We keep the chlorine level just below ideal and it does not use much because the sun does not burn it off but we are considering going with salt.

I saw some of these boats on some show yesterday, history/discovery channel I forget, some girls out of Louisiana own a shop and put together 170 mph boats, dual 1400HP supercharged motors. :shocking:

I'll stick to hard ground and slow 4x4's thanks. :)

Now that is a CAVE.

Very nice spot and I am sure you scored it at a very good price!! Pretty darn cool.

Now we just need to video clips of that motor on the dyno:drool:

Thanks guys,
As happens when you buy something that somebody else built it is always a work in progress to make it your own. In the spring I am going to put metal roofs on both the building and the house. Being in the open surrounded by farm feilds the wind removes about 200 shingles a year.

Heres a project I finish last month.

What motor is in the Cobra? Looking at the valve cover, it appears to be the FE bolt pattern.. is it a true 427? Would love to see some video of that baby if it is! Love the ole FE motors

Thanks I spend about 16 hours a day in the building during the week and 10 a day on weekends when its not boating season. I have a few buddies that come over after 6 PM on most week nights for pop. Thier wives blame all their problems on me but my wife loves it because she can control the TV remote and she knows where I'm at.

Yes it is a true 427 side oiler with 6 bolt main caps. The car is not mine it belongs to a customer.

Its been a while since I have been on the site.I have made some changes and added some man cave must haves.

1st the 39 OE I bought 2 years ago did not work out so well....Mark Smith never paid the boat off and I still do not have a title, so I replaced it with this.

I'll jump on here as I just found your thread, I don't have words that describe what I'm feeling about your shop. Its make me believe in something again, something to hope for again, I hope the hell some day I have a place like that :)

One of the best here on GJ for sure!!

Getting close to finishing 70X16 spray/glass/prep booth. Doing a cross draft with bifold filter door on close end and filter wall on far end. The trailer is 50' and will be the first project for the booth.
